News: 3-7-11

long time since the last update. Sorry guys.

Here's some info for new releases:

- The botched cassette of The Hooks That Snare The Wolf has been reissued as an excellent CD-r on the mighty Live Bait Recording Foundation. It features a bonus track, quality printed artwork and the clarity of sound that I intended with it. Huge thanks to Stephen for reissuing it. You can get copies from him or from Malignant Records.

- The documentary City/Ruins: Art In The Face Of Industrial Decay is now available from Live Bait as well. Copies are $15 US ppd / $17 INTL ppd. Contact Stephen again at Live Bait. Ask about the CD-r of Lupus Sol (me + Stephen) soundtrack for City/Ruins.

- The next Nyodene D release will be Every Knee Shall Bow released by Assembly Of Hatred in an edition of 300 pro-CDs. Artwork will be done by Luke Rockwell. I will be selling copies and doing trades on a limited basis with my artist copies. Please support the label. Expect it in early April.

News: 12-15-10

Happy Holidays everyone.

Some updates:

- The Hooks That Snare The Wolf c-60 came out a few days ago on Dream Root Recordings. Frankly, I'm not too thrilled with it. The artwork is not what I intended for it, nor do I like the paint all over the tapes. Still, thank you to Brandon for putting it out. Being the control freak for my art that I am, THTSTW is being reissued by Stephen Petrus' awesome label Live Bait Recording Foundation in an edition of 100 (or so). This will come with full-color artwork and an additional 19 minute bonus track entitled "Varulv". People who ordered the tape version from Dream Root (or traded it with me) will be getting one of these free of charge (overseas shipping $2). Expect these around the first of the year.

- Nyodene D, along with many esteemed friends and colleagues, will be featured on the upcoming L.White Records compilation U.S. Bestial Forces. Track entitled: "I Know That I Am Fighting A War I Cannot Win"

- Nyodene D will be featured on an upcoming four way split with The Vomit Arsonist, Deterge and Content Nullity

- The Assembly of Hatred release, entitled "Every Knee Shall Bow" is being worked on dilligently. Four long tracks, about America and its fascination with The End.

- Finally, the release for Malignant sublabel Black Plague has a title. Coming in 2011:

Nyodene D - U N P E R S O N

That is all.

News: 10-1-10

Hello all,

Here's some updates on Nyodene D activities.

- "I Have No Mouth, Yet I Must Scream" is out on Obscurex. It's a c-30 with lyric inserts and cover art by Elijah Funk. Order them before they sell out. Huge thanks to Niko, Stephen Petrus and various others who helped out with this release.

- "The Hooks That Snare The Wolf" c-60 will be out on Dream Root Recordings by Halloween. It's two side-long tracks of dark ambient / death industrial, featuring Wyatt Howland of Skin Graft. The layout was done by yours truly and was generously released by Brandon Greter. It's a super-limited edition of 25, so e-mail Brandon at dreamrootrecs@gmail.com to reserve your copy.

- "Every Knee Shall Bow" is an upcoming pro-CD in an edition of 300 on Mr. Crow's Hong Kong power electronics label Assembly Of Hatred. Expect nasty junk abuse, sludgy synth lines and more pissed vocals. Aiming for Winter 2011.

- I am extremely pleased to announce that Nyodene D will be doing a pro-CD release for the Malignant Records sublabel Black Plague. This will likely be released in Summer or Fall of 2011.

- A huge thanks goes out to Tom Sweet for his generous donation of a Moog Concertmate MG-1, Casio SK1 and collection of reverb units and delays that I will be allowed to use until he returns from his travels in Southeast Asia. I would like to wish Tom luck on his soujurns. Be safe.

- Nyodene D and Disgust are making plans to tour the East Coast this winter. There's also tour dates planned with great friend Murderous Vision and some planned with the doom metal band Bridesmaid.

News - 6/7/10

Hello all,

I'm sorry to have been so inactive recently. I've been busy working on schools, event planning and sorting out my life that I've neglected to inform you for months of what I've been up to. I'm Cleveland-bound for the summer and won't be in Athens again until late August (short of weekend visits, etc).

A quick recap:

- Nyodene D / Murderous Vision - Kirkebrennen split c-30 will be out soon on the mighty Phage Tapes, along with the upcoming 4-way split (with RU-486, Disgust and Gnawed) and a new Nyodene D c-30 entitled "Pogrom")

- The tape for Obscurex Records (who recently released the excellent Praying For Oblivion and Will Over Matter stuff) is the main focus here at Nyodene D HQ. Six tracks of throbbing death industrial, scrap metal abuse, furious vocals and dangerous thoughts. Vocals will be recorded at Storms Ov The Underworld in Painesville, Ohio.

- Nyodene D will be doing a cover of prog rock legends Genesis' song "The Knife" for the upcoming compilation Brains On Backwash Vol 3 on Mike Haley's 905 Tapes

- A new collaborative c-30 of rhythmic industrial project with Stephen Petrus of Murderous Vision will be done by the end of the summer for release on Mistake By The Lake Tapes.

- You can catch a short blast of hatred by Nyodene D on Disgust's new c-40 "Where Angels Fear To Tread" on Danvers State Recordings

- A REISSUE of 50 Nyodene D "God And Country" c-40s are in the works over at DSR.

News - 4/19/10

Hey all,

Updates have been infrequent as of late. Here's what's going on in terms of Nyodene D -

1) New / upcoming releases: Three releases on Phage Tapes will hopefully be available by June, but possibly later. These are:

- 4-way split with RU-486, Disgust and Gnawed (2xc-10)
- Pogrom c-30 (two side-long tracks presenting the pain and loss caused by genocide)
- Kirkebrennen c-30 split with Murderous Vision

There is also a tape coming out on Obscurex Records based in Finland. The working title is I Have No Mouth, Yet I Must Scream and will likely be a c-40 or longer

2) Reissues: Danvers State Recording will be reissuing God and Country eventually. Updates when they become available

3) Live shows: Nyodene D performances will be infrequent until June. As of right now, I am playing at the Athens Experimental Music Festival on May 1st and perhaps on May 29th in Athens. June, July and August will hopefully present a slew of shows to play in Cleveland and elsewhere. Be on the lookout for weekend tours with Skin Graft, Arsonist's Prayer and others.

More updates to follow. Keep up with me on Facebook
